What is a Lifestyle Session Like?
I want you to look around you. What do you see? A messy house? Children curled up on the couch? (With popcicle mixed with dirt on their face?) A 2 yr old that seems to have misplaced his pants? Dinner burning on the stove?
Breathe it in.
This is the stuff of life. Life is moving so fast, and we are so stressed out sometimes that we forget how precious it is.
I want to capture that. I want to give you a glimpse, a time capsule, a completely imperfect memory of what today is like for you. So that you don’t forget.
When I brought my first newborn son home, we lived in a horrible, tiny, cheap 500 square foot apartment on the second floor. I would have never dreamed of having a photographer over to have a lifestyle session. Now here we are 7 years later, and his 2 adult front teeth are growing in and he is playing wii all day long, and he sometimes says bad words and he has a 4 and 2 yr old sister – I would give ANYTHING to go back to that tiny apartment where it was just the 3 of us. If only for a moment.
