The Petrified String Cheese Story

Hey – Whats that?  Since I actually LOST the picture I had of the Petrified String Cheese I named my blog after, I thought I would grace you with this amazing specimen.  I thought it was a Pirates of the Caribbean lego when i found it.  But its not.  Its a banana.  :/  LOL.

So I guess you are wondering “What is petrified string cheese?”  The literal definition is this: A specimen I found under my couch one day, a hard, whitish, stick thing that I later determined was at one time string cheese.  It made me chuckle because I wondered just what that stuff was made out of – if it turned into plastic after a few weeks at room temperature.

The metaphoric definition of petrified string cheese is that this is my blog.  I am a mother of 3 just trying to find my way in what feels like an ocean of decisions for my family.  I am not perfect.  (Sometimes I find really old disgusting food in my living room.) I have struggled with housekeeping, depression, being a young mother, traditional discipline, new age discipline, religion, non-religion, God, and poverty.  I have faced a huge amount of adversity and my goal here is to tell my story, so that you will feel comfortable with yours.  Sometimes life gets messy.  We need to know that its ok.  We are all here with a unique challenge, and gift.  I have mine.  You have yours.  I am so glad you stopped by.

~Namaste~
