Well, as a mother, I think Red Dye is the Devil Incarnate but my husband disagrees. Which is why he is totally the coolest dad EVER when He buys not one, but TWO boxes of Nick Jr. Popsicle! YAY!!!!!!!!
So, then, Mommy has to take matters into her own hands. After 2 days of having 2 boxes of these little ADHD-whining-monster-making machines in my freezer, I declare a “popsicle day” because ya know what? I want them the hell out of my house!

Good solution! Great photo! Cheers. My dh is “like the coolest Dad ever too” because after two days of no TV (the remote batteries died) baby girl had stopped asking, content to play with lots of toys, explore outside, and imagine. Then he comes home and wants to watch something WITH her. So… he puts on Dora and then falls asleep on the couch. Leaving me to unglue her after two episodes to brush her teeth, read stories, and clean up the mess. Sigh… I want to say “let’s trade places, I’ll be the fun parent, and you be the one who deals with all the issues and worries about everything?” But then I remember that I wouldn’t want to trade places and be gone all the time, missing a lot of the good moments.
If I could get my 2 yr old to watch Dora, I SOOO would. LOL!!!!!!!
She is exhausting! So Tv is her special time with Daddy? Paint your toes.
